No, Palestinians will do no such thing, for the process of genocide would continue even if they chose not to defend themselves. It is reminiscent of Turtle Island's Tuscarora War, in which Tuscarora "Indians" repeatedly razed squatter settlements and killed settler colonialists/squatters, including women and children in the Province of Carolina, as well as in other places. That type of thing is never a good thing, but it's the sort that naturally occurs in a settler colonial/squatter dynamic. It is akin to the children of slaveholders being killed by chattel slaves in the Antebellum South. The killing of typically innocent children is always a tragedy, but it is what often occurs within a master/slave dynamic.
Furthermore, international law distinguishes occupied peoples' fundamental rights to freedom, independence, and self-determination. The Geneva Convention states that colonized peoples possess the right to armed struggle. And people squatting on occupied land, i.e., Israeli squatter settlements, are not innocent civilians. They are typically violent settler colonialists who ask to be attacked.
Be well
